The Finnish company HMD Global recently launched its newest line of Nokia smartphones which are actually the next generation of Nokia 5, Nokia 3 and Nokia 2 which were launched by the company last year. The newest version is named as Nokia 5.1, Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 2.1. All the smartphones will run on Android Oreo.

The new Nokia 5.1 has  0.3inch bigger display on a narrower body which is narrower by 2mm.In other words, it has an aspect ratio of  18:9 and the screen size is 5.5inch Full HD plus display.


The Nokia 5.1 is powered by 2.0GHz MediaTek Helio P18 Octa-core processor. According to the company, it is 40% faster and more powerful than the previous generation. The rare camera is upgraded to 16MP with phase detection autofocus and wide angle front camera. The fingerprint sensor is now given in at the back side of the phone.

The phone will be available in three colours: Copper, Tempered Blue and black. It has two storage option in the form of 2GB/16GB and 3GB/32GB.The phone will be available from July 2018 at a price of Euro 189.

The new Nokia 3.1 has an 18:9 aspect ratio with a screen size of 5.2-inch HD+ display. It has a 2.5D curved display which is protected by Corning Gorilla glass.

The phone is powered by MediaTek 6750 octa-core processor and the camera is upgraded to 13MP which is the main camera of the phone. The Nokia 3.1 will be available from June in three colours: Blue, copper, Black/chrome and White/iron. The price of the Nokia 3.1 will be around Euro 139.

The Nokia 2.1 has a large 5.5-inch HD screen and dual front-facing stereo speakers which will be helpful for music lovers who love to hear loud music. The biggest pro of the Nokia 2.1 is its 4000mAh battery which the company claims can last for 2 days. The phone is powered by an upgraded Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor. As far as the camera of the phone is concerned, it is a 5MP front-facing camera with an 8MP rare camera with autofocus. The phone will run on Android Oreo(Go edition) which is an optimised version of Android Oreo designed for smartphones which have 1GB of RAM or less.

The phone will be available from July in three metallic colours: Blue/Copper, Blue/silver and Grey/silver. The price of the phone will be around USD 115.
