GOOGLE KILLS ITS 'VIEW IMAGE' OPTION

Google has removed its "view image" button as a result of its legal settlement with Getty Images.Getty images is an American stock photo agency and it supplies photos for various business and consumers across the world.

Previously a user could download an image directly by searching for it and then after clicking on it he could download it directly by clicking on the save button. In this way, a user could download the image without even going to the source website and without seeing the person responsible for the image and thus escape from the copyright thing.

But now a user will get only two options on the image i,e the option for visiting the website in which the required image is present and the other one is for sharing the image.

Now image search in the Google has become a  time consuming one and the user has to visit the source website in order to download the required image of his choice. But on the other hand, this decision is good for professional photographers and publishers whose images were previously downloaded illegally through Google without paying anything to the publishers or photographers.

However other search engines like Duck Duck Go, Bing still has the "view image " option available.Fortunately, there is an extension also which goes by the name "Make Google Image Search Great Again" for web browsers like Firefox and Chrome.
