LATEST NOKIA SMARTPHONES | MOBILE WORLD CONGRESS

HMD Global, the Finnish company which develops smartphones and feature phones under the brand name "Nokia" announced a series of new smartphones during the ongoing Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain on 25th February 2018.

The company also announced that its all the future smartphones will be based on a pure Android operating system.And by announcing that, it has become the first global company to partner with Google to include its whole upcoming portfolio of smartphones under the android one programme. Apart from that, it promised pure, secure and up to date android experience on its smartphones to its users. 

So, here are the Nokia smartphones which the company announced during the MWC 2018.

NOKIA 8 Sirocco 


Going with the design first, the Nokia Sirroco consists of the curved display along with its side edges which are just 2mm thin.It has a curved edge to edge pOLED 2k  5.5inch display.And coming to the most important part i,e the camera which consists of enhanced dual sight Zeiss optics with wide angle primary camera and a secondary 13 MP camera with 2X optical zoom.

According to the company, its stainless steel frame is 2.5 times stronger than 6000 series aluminum.And the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It will be available from early April for 749 Euros excluding taxes and subsidies.

NOKIA 7 Plus 

Nokia 7 plus consists of dual sight, dual rare cameras with  Zeiss optics.The 12MP camera happens to be the primary camera with wide angle lens and the secondary camera is 13MP which delivers 2X optical zoom.

Nokia 7 plus is equipped with  Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor.And the battery to power it is 3800 mAh.The company claims that the battery will last for 2 days.

The screen has a  6 inch full HD display with 18:9 aspect ratio which provides more screen space on the traditional 5.5-inch screen.The Nokia will also be available from April for 399 Euros. 

NOKIA 6






The New Nokia 6(2018) is now 60% faster than its previous version as per the claims of the company.The new Nokia 6 now consists of dual sight, Zeiss optics, USB- c type fast charging along with Android Oreo.

The 6000 series aluminum body has some improvements with 2.5D display and a Corning Gorilla Glass to protect it from any damage. Inside it is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor which further boosts the performance of the smartphone.The Nokia 6 will also be available from April for 279 Euros.

NOKIA 1 

Nokia 1 runs on an optimized version of Android Oreo(Android Go).It is a device which has less than 1 GB of RAM.The Nokia 1 will have the popular Xpress on covers which can be changed according to the users choice.

NOKIA 8110 Reloaded 

The legendary Nokia 8110 which was also known as the banana phone because of its shape like the banana will now be available in the market for its users once again. The Nokia 8110 is primarily a feature phone with 4G support which can be useful as a secondary phone in case of emergency.
