ANDROID ONE :WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT IT ?

It is a low-cost device that runs on googles android OS  and they are normally aimed at developing markets.Google controls all the design and development of these devices whereas they are manufactured by the partnering phone manufactures.No customization are possible on these devices and they run on stock android or let's say almost close to it.The security and updates are provided by Google.


So what is the difference between Android and Android One?

The most important difference between these two is that Android smartphones can be heavily customized according to our needs whereas Android one smartphone is based on a stock Android which cannot be customized much or let's say it is close to stock android.



Initially, they were released with Android Lollipop on it and that was for Asian markets like India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal along with some other Asian countries.The Indian brands like Micromax, Karbon and Spice were the first manufacturers of these devices which were launched in September 2014.And recently on September 5th, 2017 with the launch of  Xiaomi's  Mi A1, Android one is back again aiming for more users across the world. Initially it will be launched in Indian market but afterward, it will be released for more countries.

Android Go:

There is also a lighter version of Android which is meant for smartphones running on RAM below 1GB.It was first launched with Android Oreo to aim at entry-level smartphones.The go edition of the android Oreo consists of optimized apps on google play store which is an android Go version of play store especially for these kinds of entry-level smartphones.
