If you want a smartphone which can give you a power-packed performance and that too without making a hole in your pocket too much then your choice should be this new smartphone from Asus. This smartphone is really giving tough competition to its rivals in this price segment. Let us see what is in this smartphone which is making waves in the smartphone world.

DESIGN AND BUILT QUALITY

Going with the design of the smartphone, it is an all-metal smartphone with a built-in speaker on the lower edge of the smartphone and beside that is a micro USB port and 3.5mm headphone jack. On the right edge of the phone is the volume up and volume down button and the power button. Also, it has a Sim tray on the left edge. And the big thing is that it is a dual sim tray with an option of inserting SD card with it. It is not a hybrid Sim slot where you have the option of using one SIM at a time with an SD card in it. So that is a very good thing about this smartphone that Asus has done. The back of the phone consists of dual camera setup and a fingerprint sensor which is a bit slow to respond.

DISPLAY

 The display of the Phone is quite good at 5.99'' or 15.22cm full HD plus screen. It has an aspect ratio of 18:9  and has a screen resolution of 2160 X 1080 IPS display. Also, the screen has a 2.5D curved glass display.

 SPECIFICATIONS

 Talking about the specifications of this phone, this phone is powered by Snapdragon 636 kyro octa-core processor. It has two variants which are 3GB of RAM which comes along with 32GB of internal storage and the other one is 4GB which comes with 64GB of internal storage. The graphics of the phone is powered by Adreno 509 chip.

 Comming to the camera, it has a 13MP+5MP dual rare camera which will be helpful for taking photos in portrait mode. As far as selfie camera is concerned it is an 8MP shooter with soft light LED flash and it can capture Bokeh mode as well. The smartphone is capable of shooting 4K videos also.

For a smartphone to perform all these tasks, it needs a powerful battery to support it all throughout the day. And this smartphone has a massive 5000mAh battery which can last a day long with a heavy usage and according to Asus, it can last even for 2 days. 

 SOFTWARE

 The Asus Zenfone Max Pro runs Android Oreo 8.1 which is almost stock android with some pre-installed apps. With such a massive battery and a near stock android running underneath, the smartphone is very fast and responsive.

 PROS AND CONS

 Pros 

 The  Sim slots are definitely the biggest advantage of this smartphone which will allow the user to expand the phone memory without sacrificing the other SIM.

 The other thing about this phone is that is running Stock Android which makes it faster and responsive.

 Cons

 The fingerprint sensor is a bit slower to respond and let's hope it will be fixed in the near future.
